So, whatever G Hub did in Windows actually made it less functional in Linux than when I bought it. The backlights are off and the "lighting" button on the keyboard does nothing.
Sadly, when I rebooted into Linux, not only did the new backlighting settings I set in Windows not carry over, but it's not even doing the default backlighting anymore.
